Within the scope of the project with a total contract values of
$454.543.319 as per 2010 unit prices, earth works, minor and large
structures (6 viaducts with a total length of 4.436 m.), pavement
works (wetmix and hotmix), geotechnical works, landscaping, toll
collection and secondary works (utility works, service and parking
areas, maintenance centers) are constructed. Traªc signs, road
marking, guardrail and Row fence constructions are excluded and
have been contracted out by NÖMAYG separately. Coordination
and supervision of the construction works of those items will be
on responsibility of NUROL.
By the end of 2017 project goals has been mostly accomplished. Works
on minor and large structures, earthworks, viaducts, prestressed
beams drainage, pavements are proceeding on all sections as of
Graphic 2 February 2018. 59% progress were realized on construction works
since the begining of the project (Graphic 2). Quantitive amounts
in project and realizations as of end of January 2018 are shown at
Table 2. According to planning of 2018, 1,9 million m³ excavation
on main road, 3,3 milion m³ borrow pit excavation, 4,6 milion m³
fill, 80.000 m³ reinforced concrete, 48.000 m³ surface drainage
Gebze - Orhangazi - İzmir concrete, 1.675 number of prestressed beams, 6.104 m. bored pile,
1.800.000 tonnes wetmix pavement, 1.000.000 tonnes hotmix
pavement and utility relocations are planned to be completed.
Motorway Construction End date is 31.12.2018 according to contract.
