Ataşehir “Ümraniye-Ataşehir-Göztepe Metro Construction and
Electromechanical Systems Procurement, Installation
& Commissioning Works” project, tendered by
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality on 3 March 2017,

was awarded to Nurol-Gülermak Joint Venture who
submitted the best offer. The contract was signed with

Göztepe the Employer on 14 April 2017 and the construction
works commenced following the site handover on 28
th
April 2017.
The scope of the project includes the implementation of
13 km single line twin tube tunnel with TBM method, 2
tunnels for train depots and 1 connection tunnel (NATM)
along Ümraniye-Ataşehir-Göztepe route. The project
Underground also comprises of the construction of 11 metro stations.
The duration of construction is 1.020 days starting
from the date of the site handover and, following the
completion of the works, provision of operation and
maintenance supervision services for a period of 24
Construction and months, preparation of operation and maintenance
manuals, the procurement of spare parts and
Electromagnetic Systems consumables for 2 years as well as procurement of
special tools and equipment, training on site and abroad
are also in the scope of the contract.”
