The Ilısu Dam and HEP Project constructed as a rock fill with the concrete-covered frontageis the longest dam
                crest of the world with this method. The construction works are still ongoing in the location which is 44 km. far
                from the Syrian border over the Tigris River. The installed capacity of the project planned for producing energy
                is 1.200 MW and it is expected to produce 4120 GWh energy annually.


                The Ilısu Dam which is one of the key facts like Atatürk Dam within the Southeastern Anatolia Project, has a

                24 milyon m  dam volume consisting of rock fill and its filling production is completed. Besides, the concrete
                pavementworks of the frontage will have been finished by this October. There are 6 units each of whom are
                204 MW in the power house, and the construction and electromechanical works are ongoing. The construction
                works for the Concrete Gravity Dam and Dolusavak are ongoing and it is expected that they will be ready for
                water holding in the mid of 2017. 83.87% of the project is completed till the end of July.


                Some transportation routes are needed for Hasankeyf district to be replaced in the upper parts and the tenders
                of bridge constructions for the parts of these routes going through the lake of Ilısu Dam are conducted by the
                General Directorate for Highways of the Republic of Turkey and the construction works are maintained by us.
