Balıkesir – Kırkağaç - Akhisar Section
Under the contract which is signed between NOMAYG (employer)
and NUROL, construction works on approximately 93 km of motor-
way between Balıkesir - Kırkağaç – Akhisar (Ch: 224+300-317+284)
as a part of Gebze – Orhangazi – İzmir – Motorway (Including Izmit
bay suspension bridge and access roads commenced as of April
2015.
In this section there are 5 junction and toll collection areas which
connect the motorway to Balıkesir, Savaştepe, Soma, Kırkağaç,
Akhisar Settlements. In addition there are 4 service facility areas
Figure 3 which are placed on both directions as type A(1), type B(1) and type
D(2).(Figure 3)
