Ch: 40+000 - 41+000 General View

Gebze – Orhangazi Section

It is approached to the end of the construction works within the
scope of contract that NUROL signed with NÖMAYG (Employer)
for the construction works of section approximately 9 km length
that takes place between Gebze - Orhangazi (Ch: 34+350-43+296)
of “Gebze - Orhangazi - İzmir Motorway (Including Izmit bay
suspension bridge and access roads )” (Figure 1), which is constructed
with Build-Operate-Transfer model under the obligation of Otoyol
A.Ş. (Company In Charge). Responsibility area of NUROL takes
place between Samanlı Tunnel exit and Orhangazi (Figure 2). Earth
works, structures, geotechnical works, landscape, toll collection
and secondary works (utility relocations, service and park areas) are
under the responsibility of NUROL pavement works are excluded. In
addition to service area on Ch:37+500 K4 Junction and toll collection
area were constructed on Ch: 40+000 of the Motorway.
