rdu Highway Project which will have a
significant place in Turkey’s and Black Sea
Region’s road network will constitute and
important part of Black Sea Coastal Highway.
OAlong with the provision of the standards
required for the transit traffic, it aims to take the
transit traffic load from the inner-city network. The Project has
started in February 2012 under the contract of the JV under the
leadership of Nurol and within the scope 19 km long highway, 3
tunnel crossings of 2x15 km total length, 2 viaducts of 1.970 km
length, 5 flyovers, 2 overpasses, 12 underpasses will be realized
together with 2.000 m box culvert productions are being realized.
Project route separates from Bolaman Perşembe road in the vicinity of Akçaova River and reaches to Black Sea Coast Road with Doğu interchange
near Turnasuyu, continuing from the territory of University of Ordu after Ordu Highway, Civil viaduct, Terzili tunnel and Melet viaduct through a
tunnel under Boztepe.
When the construction of Ordu Highway is completed as divided highway with 2*2 lanes and 26 meters wide platform, it can be estimated that
the journey time will be 12 minutes, it will save 583.000 hours in annual journey time and 2.600.000 litres in fuel consumption and total amount
of the annual savings will be 26.000.000 TL.
