FEBRUARY 2025 36. ISSUEAs part of its corporate culture, Nurol %u0130n%u015faat has embraced the Principles of Equal Opportunity and established the Equal Opportunity Model (FEM). This model aims to promote a fair, equitable, and inclusive perspective within the company, while striving to make an impact on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly gender equality and reducing inequalities. To encourage women%u2019s employment, the FEM certification program was developed under the leadership of the Women Entrepreneurs Association of T%u00fcrkiye (KAG%u0130DER) with technical support from the World Bank. The FEM evaluation process was conducted by the independent audit firm Deloitte, providing valuable feedback on best practices and areas for improvement. Following a successful completion of this process, Nurol %u0130n%u015faat earned the Equal Opportunity Certificate. This achievement reflects the company%u2019s commitment to sustainability and equality and marks a significant milestone as Nurol %u0130n%u015faat becomes the first Nurol Holding Group company to be certified in this area, setting a precedent for others to follow.In June, the FNSS Environmental Committee and Human Resources launched the %u201cZero Waste Initiative for the Future%u201d to raise environmental awareness and promote a clean facility and a shared sense of environmental responsibility.As part of the initiative, volunteer teams of FNSS employees organized a waste collection activity in the green areas of FNSS facilities.
