This project is carried out in cooperation with an international
finance institution. Can you tell us more about credit institution?
It is very important to obtain all required legal environmental and
regional licenses and carry out both mining and processing stages
according to a plan in this sector that have many risks. We have
been engaging in close cooperation with International Finance
Institution EBRD for more than three years in order to maintain
highest technical, environmental and social standards in our mines.
Expertise of EBRD in the sector is very important for our activities in
mining. This year, Lapseki and İvrindi Gold Mine projects of TÜMAD
Mining were rewarded with “Best Deal in Natural Resources” Branch.
For the first time, a Turkish company in mining sector was decorated
with EMEA Business Awards.

Explosion open mine method will be used for mining. Ore will go
through heap leaching and enrichment process in order to obtain
gold and silver dore as final product. Feasibility of the project was
prepared according to NI-43-101 Canadian standards.

It is estimated that total of the project is 1.500.000 ounce of gold
and 2.500.000 ounce of silver. Tenors per ton of gold and per ton of
silver are respectively 0,67 g and 1,62 g. Within the framework of the
project, total ore production target is 45 million tons and total waste
production will be 101 million tons. Within the context of the project,
ore-waste ratio is 1/2 and opencast mining method with millisecond
delayed explosion will be used. Opencast mining method that will
be used in the field will include five basic process namely, drilling,
explosion, excavation-loading, transportation and disposal of ore.
Ore will be transported to the storage area and divided into small
pieces. Following the pelletizing process, ore will be placed on heap
leach area and will go through cyanide solution dripping method
diluted via pipeline network. This solution will resolve gold inside
the cracked ore. Gold loaded solution will turn into gold and silver
dore bars at the ADR units. Following the heap leaching process, the
