First of protocols signed within the framework of “National
Energy Thrust” initiated by the Ministry of Energy and
Natural Resources was put into effect on November 1,
2018. Foundations of Natural resources Vocational School
and Technical Anatolia High School and İvrindi Gold and
Silver Mining Premises were laid simultaneously with the
Fatih DÖNMEZ, Gürol ÇARMIKLI participations of Minister of Energy and Natural Resources
Fatih DÖNMEZ and Minister of National Education Ziya
SELÇUK.
Addressing guests during the ground breaking ceremony,
member of Nurol Holding Executive Board Gürol ÇARMIKLI
stated that they have put their signatures under two big
projects in mining sector in Çanakkale Lapseki and Balıkesir
İvrindi adding that, “It is an additional honor to see that
both two projects are developed by young and dynamic
Turkish engineers and employees.”
‘Vocational and Technical Anatolia High School’ whose
foundation was laid by us today will serve to respond much
needed qualified and competent intermediate staff demand
in the sector. Moreover, we are aiming at completing “İvrindi
Gold and Silver Mining Project” investment in 2019.
It will be one of the most important investments in regional
and national economy as it will generate employment
and 40 billion Turkish Lira added value. Commencement
of İvrindi Gold and Silver Mine will make contribution to
financing current deficit and development of regional and
national economy.”
