Ordu
Beltway

The Ordu Beltway Project has been constructing since 20 March 2012 under the partnership of Nurol-Yuksel-Ozka-YDA. The
highway separates from Akcaova River and goes through a tunnel under Boztepe then passes by Civil Stream, Melet River
and Turnasuyu viaduct till to the coastal road up from Turnasuyu Village. The total length of the project increased to 21.4
km from 19.1 km with the change of the route.
To be constructed in the width of 26 m. platform as 2x2 separated highway the Ordu Beltway consists of 7 viaducts, each
of which are 3.105 m; 6 tunnels 18.759 m in total single tube) and 6 crossroads, 3 of them with bridge.
Despite the bad ground conditions, 11.816 m (single tube) tunnel excavation and retaining works are completed and the
10.580 m long cincture of the tunnel is covered with concrete pavement. The Civil Viaduct which is 785 m. long is also
completed. Besides, the small engineering structures, the earth works and other manufacturing works are still ongoing.
The superstructure manufacturing is in progress and the both tubes of the Öceli Tunnel are completed in bituminous basic
level. In addition, the plant mix base, plant mix sub-base and bituminous fundamental manufacturing within the Boztepe
Tunnel are still ongoing.
