           The OASIS Shopping, Culture and Entertainment Center hosted the International Slowcheese Festival in April, promoting Anatolia’s
           local and traditional cheesemaking. Many Turkish, Greek and Italian cheese producers opened stands along the OASIS Sculpture
           Path. During the festival more, than 400 flavors were presented to the taste of visitors, including cheeses with geographical
           indications, those listed on the Slow Food list, and local foods.Besides the cheese tasting and sale stands, the festival hosted
           panel sessions entitled “Local or Industrial?”, autograph sessions with Yavuz Dizdar, Ceylan Orhun and Güvener Işık, and other
           significant events, such as “White Cheese by Sylvia – Sinan Sarpkan” and “How to Make Halloumi Cheese by Producers from the
             Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus”, with a presentation by Chef Cook Pelin Dumanlı for the gathered children and families.

          Fathers went head-to-head, competing in OASIS’s Father’s Day
          Backgammon  Tournament.  At  the end  of this  backgammon
          tournament with two categories for modern and classical
          varieties of the game, which was enlivened by the presence
          of  Erman  Toroğlu,  İlhan  Şeşen  and  Sinan  Erkoç,  successful
           backgammon players won various prizes provided by OASIS.
