DOUERA The Douera Dam, located near Douera district and 27 km
southern west of Algiers, the capital city, is the first project
having been realized in Algeria by NUROL. The Douera Dam
shall provide potable water for the Alger city as well as irrigation
water to the farm lands (17.200 Ha) in the Mitidja plain. The
Dam was totally completed including the works of the 2 years
warranty period that the final acceptance was performed on 5

The Souk Tleta Dam, the second project of NUROL in Algeria,

The project has remained suspended for a long time owing to
incomplete relocation of the RN25 highway passing through
the construction site of the dam. The project works have been
performed at present at an accelerated pace with the aim at DAM
resumed since 17 July 2016 upon resolution of the expropriation
problems and the re-settlement issues. Construction works are
realization of the river diversion within the first half of the year
2017. Besides, works are performed for completion of the side Project Manager: Kamil İlhami GÜMÜŞDAĞ
