                  ENERGY

By putting 2 hydroelectric power plants strength of 63 MW in to operation, our company
which carries out a work to attain a place in the energy sector in the long run is maintaining
its management and electrical trade successfully. Enova Energy, one of the shareholdings
of Nurol Holding, reached the worth of 80 million Turkish Liras turnover by producing 465
GWh electricity up to the present. By making preparations and participations for several gas
and electricity distribution tenders, every phase of the energy sector which has been under
reconstruction since 2001 was followed closely and the long term goals were set. Occasion-
ally, by making important cooperation agreements with multinational companies, works on
project basis have been conducted and this situation also applies today.

Year of 2012 becomes prominent as a year of progress in terms of our company. In the
year of 2012, the production and the turnover of our company in the first nine months is
realised respectively as 247 GWh and 45 million Turkish Liras. As a result of the investment
work of the extensive thermal power plant about which we have been doing a research for
a long time, out investment plan of the production power plant, based on importing coal in
1.600 MW power and in capacity of producing 5,5 % of Turkey’s current production, is now
commenced and we are waiting for obtaining a licence. The investment worth of almost 2
billion USD will be needed for this plant which will be completed in 4 - 4-4,5 years after ap-
proximately 2 years of project developing.

Once again, at the last quarter of this year, Göksu HEPP which has 10,8 MW power and
65 GWh production capacity per year and is located in Karaman and one of the hydroelectric
NATIONAL der initiated by Privatization Administration and will be added to the portfolio in the first
power plants that belong to Electricity Generation Company (EUAŞ) was bought in the ten-

quarter of 2013 after the transfer process is completed.

Apart from above mentioned concrete investments, both based upon Renewable Energy
resources and on the basis of thermal power plant, evaluation of various projects are carried
on and construction of the projects found appropriate will be accelerated.

Within this scope, after some researches which we conducted in the field of solar energy,
54 measurements were commenced in several areas and a percentage of around 10 – 20 % is
aimed from the first 600 MW group which is the first request and allocation section that
                  will be made in 2013.
