While construction works in both highway and suspension bridge sections of the project are continued at an ac-
celerating speed, intense negotiations on the operating contract are in progress too.
Drafts of Direct Agreement for Implementation Contract (ICDA), Credit Agreement (FA) and Liabilities Undertak-
ing Agreement (DAA) on which a mojer progress has been achieved as a result of the negotiations with the banks
have been presented to KGM (General Directorate for Highways) and the Undersecretariate of Treasury. Negotia-
tions have been launched with the aforementioned bodies about the details of these agreements.
