The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has honored T%u00dcMAD Madencilik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.%u015e. with the 2024 Environmental and Sustainability Gold Medal for its outstanding environmental and social initiatives in %u00c7anakkale Lapseki and Bal%u0131kesir %u0130vrindi.The award was presented to T%u00dcMAD, a Nurol Holding company, during the EBRD%u2019s 33rd Annual Meeting and Business Forum, themed %u201cCreating Impact Together.%u201dT%u00dcMAD WINS AWARD AS AN INDUSTRY ROLE MODELT%u00dcMAD was recognized for its groundbreaking efforts to elevate environmental and social standards in T%u00fcrkiye%u2019s mining sector. These initiatives include the effective management of water and carbon footprints, comprehensive pollution prevention measures, and the successful implementation of gender-equitable participation programs. In addition to creating employment opportunities for local communities, T%u00dcMAD has actively supported social and economic development, prioritizing the empowerment of women and youth.
