Prior to the start of the mine operations, production, rehabilitation, all environmental and social values will
be protected during the process; in the light of the basic data and information obtained from the studies of
experts for the air, water, soil quality, flora and fauna, cultural and social being.
TÜMAD will be one of the major Gold Producers of our country in accordance with Sustainable Mining criteria.

The mine which will be realized by 400 people, mostly from local people. The ore extracted by the open pit
mining method will be processed in the conventional leaching process and converted into gold and silver dore
bullion by electrolysis and smelting.
Plant waste is sent to the Solid Waste Storage Area which is insulated by clay and geomembrane after passing
through chemical treatment process in order to dewatering and then solidification.
It is the only gold mine with these standards in the world where there is no discharge to the environment.

TÜMAD will provide economical and social improvement by mutual trust based, being respectful, open and
transparent communication in the mining work areas and for the purpose of providing support to the activities
of local people, social consent, complaints and feedback, stakeholder engagement, local procurement and local
employment understanding and management, preserving the environment.
