Ordu City passage is the most time consuming section of 542 km long
Blacksea Coastal Highway. The Ordu Peripheral Highway will serve as a short
cut for this passage and will bring high level of economy. Engineering struc-
tures of the Ordu Highway Construction which is a major part of the Black
Sea Coastal Road are as follows:
TUNNELS
► Boztepe Tunnel 3.311 m x 2 tubes=6.622 m
► Öceli Tunnel 2.020 m x 2 tubes=4.040 m
► Total Length of Tunnels 10.662 m
VIADUCTS
► Melet Viaduct 1.198 m
► Civil Viaduct 672 m
► Total length of the Viaduct 1.870 m
ENGINEERING STRUCTURES
► 3 Overpasses 180 m
► 12 Underpasses 380 m
► 41 Box Culverts 2.029 m
► There are 3 bridge crossings.
Ordu Highway starts from Akçaova end of the Bolaman-Perşembe Highway which was previously constructed by
joint venture that was again led by Nurol, passes through Boztepe and Öceli Tunnels, Civil and Melet Viaducts, and
meets with Black Sea Coastal Road in Turnasuyu.
