In the initial days of the events in Libya where we had extensive activities, we
managed to bring all our approximately 1000 personnel in our sites, back to
their homes without facing any trouble.

Our friends who could leave Libya without any problems, were among the first
groups returned to Türkiye.

But, we had a team member who stayed willingly at our University Campus
Building Site in Tripoli, saying “someone stay here”; AHMET KARACA.

Ahmet KARACA, who was working as topographer in our building site, together with a few of his Libyan friends
who were also working at our site has displayed a superior sense of responsibility and protected our work area
by closing the gates of our site.

During the ruthless days, our friend Mr. KARACA continuously contacted with Nurol Construction Human
Resources Manager Necdet KIRMIZIKAR, Branch Manager Hilmi ÖZKAZANÇ, Project Manager Fatih ÖZÇELİK in
Ankara and took necessary precautions until his return in October 2011 when incidents were relatively subsided.

We owe a big thank you to our friend Ahmet KARACA, who is one of our invaluable employees, for displaying a
renunciative and selfless behaviour to protect and to look out for our company. He made us proud as Nurol, we
are proud of him.
