FNSS attended the World Defense Show 2024, held on February 4%u20138 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. On the opening day of the event, FNSS unveiled the PARS ALPHA 8x8 Next-Generation Armored Combat Vehicle, showcasing its 35 years of experience in defense systems. Additionally, M113A4 vehicles, modernized locally in Saudi Arabia under FNSS%u2019s leadership, were exhibited by the Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF) in the open display area.The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries hold significant strategic importance for FNSS. In 1997, FNSS played a pioneering role in introducing Turkish defense systems to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) market, which laid the groundwork for further expansion. This effort resulted in modernization programs in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman, collectively exceeding $1 billion, creating a substantial impact.For over 20 years, FNSS has maintained its presence in the region by providing comprehensive Integrated Logistics Support services. FNSS notably operated the RSLF's Automotive and Upgrade Center (AUC) for approximately 15 years, successfully delivering a significant M113A4 Armored Personnel Carrier modernization project.FNSS's commitment to Saudization during these modernization projects is important. By aligning with the policies of the Ministry of Defense and the RSLF, FNSS made significant efforts to develop the local workforce and create an environment where the project could be executed with local expertise. This initiative led to the accreditation of several local companies, enabling them to become subsystem suppliers for the modernization program, thereby strengthening the country's industrial infrastructure. Under FNSS's leadership and with local support, over 1,000 M113A4 vehicles have been successfully modernized to date. Additionally, a fleet of Armored Command Vehicles based on the FNSS ACV-19 platform has also been delivered as part of this collaboration.FNSS%u2019s extensive regional experience underscores its commitment to delivering innovative defense solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the region's armed forces.
