NSS Defence Systems Inc., export record
holder of Turkish Defence Industry and leader
of the land vehicle, signed a new agreement
with a Middle Eastern Country being a friend
Fand ally, worth of 360 million dollars for the
modernization of the M113 armoured combat vehicles.

By raising the number of agreements signed in the
aforementioned ally country to 6 with this agreement,
FNSS proved how important it is for a company and
its products to be reliable with respect to sign new
export agreements. The vehicles to be produced
within the scope of the last signed agreement will
achieve a much more advanced level of performance
and reliability compared to other modernized M113
vehicles in the world.

The export of armoured combat vehicles by the
FNSS, placed among the world’s first 10 land defence
industry companies, to the Middle East countries will
exceed 1 billion dollar in total with this agreement.

significant milestone has been achieved for
İzmit Bay Crossing Suspension Bridge, which
is an essential part of Gebze-Orhangazi-İzmir
Motorway. 65% of 2 caisson foundations,
A which will be sitting under the sea on top of
the piles at -40,4 m once completed, have been finalised
in the Dry Dock in Hersek Peninsula in Altınova/Yalova and
have been towed out and taken to Wet Dock in Kaytazdere
by floating, in order to complete the remaining 35%
portion. The caisson foundations have been constructed in
Dry Dock in 15 months, including the construction of Dry
Dock, exactly as planned.

It lasted around 6 hours for each caisson to arrive Wet
Dock by 4 tag boats, which is the first towing out operation
in Turkey at this level of 25.000 tons/each. After having
the ceremony for the towing out operation for the south
caisson on September 27th, 2013, the north caisson has
been succesfully towed out and floated to Wet Dock as
well on October 01st, 2013.
