BE READY IN 2012
HANDOVER AND FNSS R& D BUILDING The ground of construction of new R&D Building that
has been selected as “R&D Center” of FNSS Savunma
Sistemleri A.Ş. under the 5746 numbered Law and will

Undersecretary Murad BAYAR, Nurol Holding Inc. Vice
Chairman of the Executive Board and FNSS Executive
Board Member M. Oğuz ÇARMIKLI and FNSS General
Manager and CEO Nail KURT.
The building that will go into operation in November,
2012, will have 6000 square meter indoor area and
150 engineers will continue to design and develop
Turkish-design vehicles in this building. The R&D
Building that will also have welding workshops,
prototype workshops and necessary laboratories, will
carry FNSS’s design and product development skills
further within the frame of FNSS’s vision of being a
world leader in its field.
THE FIRST BATCH of AAB’ WAS HANDED OVER
AAB (Amphibious Assault Bridge) Project that is
the first originally designed project of the Land
Vehicles Sector, has the similar concept and common
automotive subsystems with 8x8 PARS wheeled
armored vehicle developed by FNSS, and has been
designed for transportation of all military loads, main
battle tank in particular, to the other coast through
transportation tools and bridge configurations in
river crossing operations.
Prototypes manufacture of which was started in
2009, were completed on the date of 14 June 2010
and moved on land on the date of 17 June 2010 with
the participation of Defense Industry Undersecretary
Mr. Murad BAYAR. 4 MFAB systems that completed
the qualification test successfully, were handed over
to our Land Force Command with the first vehicle
handover ceremony on the date of 14 September
2011. All AAB systems to be manufactured within the
scope of the project will be completed and handed
over to Land Force Command until the end of 2012.
