As the nacelle structure used in conventional turrets
is not located in this design, usage of the vehicle
without loss of internal volume comes to the fore as
another advantage.

CLAW will be an advanced and national defense
product that will make positive contributions to
the national economy without being exposed to
impeding procedures such as license agreements
and export licenses by means of its unique design
performed by Turkish engineers. The system has
been design in a modular structure in order to give
quick response to the possible future needs.

It will be possible to apply this turret system to rubber
wheeled and tracked armored vehicles which are
currently used in the armies of Turkey and the world,
and will be newly developed. As the similar models
of the system that has been developed according to
common trends demanded by current armies are
very few, it is estimated that domestic and overseas
sales potential of the system will be very high.

CLAW was exhibited as mounted to our ACV-S
Armored Combat Vehicle at the FNSS stand within
the scope of IDEF 2011 Exhibition. Launch of the
prototype CLAW system was performed also at
the FNSS stand in IDEF 2011 with the participation
of press members, representatives of defense
industry and Mr. Murad BAYAR Defense Industry
Undersecretary. 47
