FNSS First Delivers PARS III

8x8 to Royal Army of Oman

With a ceremony organized in Ankara on July 12, FNSS delivered the first batch of a total of 172 vehicles
that is producing for Oman within the scope of the contract signed on September 20, 2015.

Under the contract, a total number of 172 vehicles with 13 di§erent configurations - 145 of which are PARS
III 8x8 and 27 of which are PARS III 6x6 - will be delivered to the Royal Army of Oman by 2020. In the
ceremony, the first batch of the PARS III 8x8 vehicle, which will eventually be supplied in eight di§erent
configurations, was delivered in its armored infantry fighting vehicle version. This type of vehicles will be
equipped with the SABER-25 turret developed by FNSS.
At the ceremony organized for the delivery of first vehicles, speeches were given by Gökhan Tekin,
Program Manager at FNSS; K. Nail KURT, the General Manager and CEO of FNSS; Brigadier General Saif
Mohammed Saif AL-SHEEDI; and Köksal LIMAN, Deputy Undersecretary for Defense Industries. After
those who worked on the project were given plaquets and models in appreciation of their contributions,
the keys of the vehicles were delivered. The ceremony ended with a lunch event.
