s well as being the youngest company within the community,
the Nurol R&D Engineering Inc. which joined the Nurol Holding
group of companies in 2012, have long-term objectives such as
to gather the experience gained from all sectors within the scope
Aof the holding and the R&D capability under a single roof and to
ensure this capability to be effectively used in different sectors. Apart from its
existing projects, the Nurol R&D Engineering Co. also follows the developments
in the different sectors for this purpose. It can develop innovative prototype,
product, system or methods thanks to its knowledge and R&D studies.
SYNTHETIC ZEOLITES APPLICATIONS
The existing projects in the field of materials of the Nurol R&D Engineering Inc. are
based on synthetic zeolites. As well as the projects for the synthesising of zeolites,
there are also projects conducted for improving and developing the properties of
synthetic zeolites applications.
Synthetic zeolites are widely used in the industries of our country, and it
is a product, the domestic production of which is not available. While zeolite
synthesis studies contribute to deficit in domestic production in our country, it also
has a mission of using only domestic resources in the synthesis.
Our Claudion branded antibacterial product, which is among the zeolite application
projects, does not only include the development of raw materials but also the studies
for its application on the final products such as paint, floor covering, sprayed/plastered
wood varnishes. The microbiological tests obtained from the existing studies have
shown that Claudion is more effective on microorganisms that cause lethal hospital
infections like VRE. Nurol Research and Development Engineering Industry and Trade
Inc., carries out concept solutions such as clean hospitals, clean public transport,
clean schools, kinder gartens with Cladion, the antibacterial efficiency of which has
been reported, and also performs their applications.
In our energy project, both heating and cooling energy is provided in the same system
with the synthetic zeolites. In the demonstrator system designed by the Nurol Research
and Development Engineering Industry and Trade Inc., certain tests are conducted in
accordance with the desired heating and cooling energies, and system requirements
and parameters are determined. In accordance with the data obtained as a result
of these tests, solutions can be produced for the systems such as drying (fruit and
vegetables drying), fluid drying, cooling (portable refrigerators, cold stores, home air/
water heating/cooling systems, etc..) thanks to the heat obtained from renewable
energy sources or from waste heat.
In our projects for composition and geometry design of synthetic zeolites, the synthetic zeolites are enabled to
have compositions and geometries to be used in applications. The application area (dehumidifiers, filtration,
molecular sieves and others) is designed in a composition suitable for its requirements and provided with
proper physical and chemical properties (strength, adsorption capacity, geometry, dimensions, abrasion loss,
etc.).
