OUR COLLABORATION IS REFLECTED ON THE PROJECT

In his speech during the signing ceremony Mr. M. Oğuz ÇARMIKLI, the Chairman of Otoyol A.Ş Board of
Directors has said; “With this coalition that consist of Nurol, Özaltın, Makyol, Astaldi, Yüksel and Göçay
companies, we as the founding partners of Otoyol Investment and Operations Inc. which is structured
for this project, are experiencing well deserved pride of been able to realise financial funding, design,
building works and subsequently maintenance and operation of this giant project. We continue our work
with speed and awareness of the responsibilities of being the contractor of such giant project which has
a very big importance for economies of the area and the country”.

With this suspension bridge that will connect İzmit Bay to Hersek Cape via Dilovası, the bay crossing time
will go down to six minutes from its original time of 1 hour and 10 minutes. Total length of the project will
be 421 km’s consisting of 377km’s of motorway and 44 km’s of connecting roads.
When the project is completed travel time from İstanbul to Bursa will go down from 3 hours to 1 hour and
consequently, travel time from İstanbul to İzmir will go down from 8-10 hours to 3 ½ hours. 33
