SUBCONTRACT IS SIGNED

FOR THE LONGEST BRIDGE

İZMİT BAY CROSSING SUSPENSION BRIDGE SUBCONTRACT IS SIGNED

EPC Subcontract for İzmit Bay Crossing Suspension Bridge, which was tendered to our JV last year as part of the
Gebze-Orhangazi-İzmir Motorway Project reducing travel time between İstanbul and İzmir to 3 ½ hours is signed
with Japanese IHI-Itochu Consortium. IHI-Itochu Consortium has also completed Galata and Fatih Sultan Mehmet
bridges respectively in 1974 and 1984.

Mr. Binali YILDIRIM, the Minister of Transport; Mr. M. Oğuz ÇARMIKLI, the Chairman of Otoyol A.Ş Board of Directors;
Mr. Kiyoshi ARAKI, Ankara Ambassador of Japan; Mr. KAZUAKI, CEO of IHI; Mr. Eizo KOBAYASHI, CEO of Itochu and
Mr. Cahit TURHAN, General Director of Highways participated to the signing ceremony of the İzmit Bay Crossing
Suspension Bridge, which will be, the second longest suspension bridge worldwide, with its 3 km length.
