INTERNATIONAL DEFENCE
INDUSTRY FAIR (IDEF) 2009 was
held in Istanbul TÜYAP Beylikdüzü Fair
and Convention Centre for the first time
between the dates 27-30 April 2009.

180 firms from Turkey, 284 firms from 48
countries, 464 firms in total participated
IDEF 2009. 264 different high level
delegations visited IDEF 2009.

Nurol Makina ve Sanayi A.Ş took place
in hall 7 with the other land platform
manufacturers and exhibited Armoured
Personnel Carrier, Armoured Combat
Vehicle and Armoured Reconnaissance
Vehicle from the EJDER 6x6 Armoured
Wheeled Vehicle Family.
The visit by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN

President Mr. R.Tayyip Erdoğan opened IDEF
2009 with a ceremony on the 27th April 2009.
Following the opening ceremony, Mr. R. Tayyip
Erdoğan, in company with the Minister of
Defense Vecdi Gönül, visited Nurol Makina ve
Sanayi A.Ş stand and were informed about our
export activities.

On the same day, the Commander of Turkish
Armed Forces General İlker Başbuğ, in company
with the Chief of Army General Işık Koşaner, the
Nurol Makina ve Sanayi A.Ş. Fair Area Chief of the Naval Admiral Metin Ataç, the Chief
