WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO YOUNG PROFESSIONALS ON THEIR CAREER JOURNEYS?WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT LESSON YOU%u2019VE LEARNED THROUGHOUT YOUR CAREER THAT YOU BELIEVE COULD INSPIRE OTHERS?The most important advice I can give to young professionals is to begin their career journeys with confidence in their talents, passions, and dreams. A career is not just about achieving a specific goal; it%u2019s a process of learning, growth, and self-discovery. Every challenge along the way presents an opportunity to learn and improve. Therefore, I believe young professionals should embrace mistakes and approach new experiences with an open mind. Mistakes are invaluable lessons, and every failure serves as a stepping stone to future success.Remaining open to continuous learning and personal growth is one of the most important traits a professional can have. No matter the sector they work in, young people's ability to adapt to innovation and change will be key to advancing quickly in their careers.It%u2019s equally important to invest not only in formal education but also in personal development, acquiring new skills, and lifelong learning. In a time when access to knowledge has never been easier, adopting a mindset of continuous learning provides a significant advantage at every stage of a career. My advice to young professionals is to always follow their passions and pursue work they genuinely love. The excitement and motivation that come from doing something you enjoy are the keys to achieving success. On the other hand, working in a role you don%u2019t love can gradually erode your motivation and prevent you from realizing your full potential. That%u2019s why it%u2019s so important to make career choices based on what truly inspires you and the fields where you%u2019ll feel happy and productive. In the long run, this approach will lead to both fulfillment and success.A career is like a marathon%u2014it requires patience, perseverance, and the right strategies to move forward. I urge young professionals to trust themselves, stay disciplined, seize every opportunity, and embrace change. These principles will guide them toward success. When you start your career, it might seem like a short journey, but as you can see, it can span decades%u201427 years in my case. Such a journey is rarely linear. A career, much like life, is filled with ups and downs, moments of stumbling and rising, exhaustion and perseverance, setbacks and triumphs. I used to believe I had two separate worlds: a career to succeed in and a life to live. But over time, I%u2019ve come to see them as interconnected pieces of the same puzzle. To be truly successful and happy, you need to nurture every part of your life with care and intention.I%u2019ve been fortunate to spend my career doing work that excites me every morning, alongside inspiring teammates, in organizations that have brought both joy and fulfillment. Of course, this wasn%u2019t a matter of luck%u2014I%u2019ve worked hard to create and sustain this in my life. The most valuable lesson I%u2019ve learned, and perhaps my greatest takeaway, is this: I%u2019ve always accepted the possibility of falling in every relationship and every process. And when I did fall, I allowed myself the time to stay down for a moment%u2014to reflect, to grieve, and to regain my strength. Then, I got back up and kept moving forward.73
