BEST FINANCING AWARD FOR
TÜMAD

Bonds & Loans Awards Turkey 2019, one of the most prestigious awards in Turkish capital
markets and finance sector, which has been described as the Oscars of the finance sector,
were presented to the winners for the fifth time this year at an event hosted by the GFC
Media Group. During the ceremony, which was attended by representatives of more than 200
Turkish and foreign finance institutes, investment funds, law and consultancy companies and
private sector institutions, TÜMAD Mining, a company affiliated to NUROL Group, received the
Best Financing of the Year in the Field of Natural Resources award for its $210 million project
financing in December 2017.

1919 TREES FROM TÜMAD MINING

Working in environmentally-conscious and sustainable ways, the TÜMAD Mining Lapseki Gold and Silver Mine organized an event
with Lapseki İsmail Baykurt Elementary School students living in the villages of Şahinli, Kocabaşlar Yeniceköy, Subaşı and Çamyurt,
which are in close vicinity of the mine, within the scope of the events organized for the 100th Anniversary of the War of Independence
and World Environment Day. We planted 1919 seedlings on a piece of land selected by the Lapseki Forest Sub-district Directorate for
an event entitled 1919 Trees on the 100th Anniversary of the War of Independence.
