Emine Saadet ÇARMIKLI was born in 1909 in Arhavi of
Artvin. Emine Saadet ÇARMIKLI, who was married to
Eyüp ÇARMIKLI from Arhavi craftsmen and mother of
five children, two of them were girls, was a loving and
respected lady with a humble and helpful personality.
This school was built by Nurettin-Erol-Turkan-M. Oğuz
ÇARMIKLI and M. Sevgi KAYAALP in the memory of the
mothers who passed away in March 2000.

RENEWED
Emine Saadet Çarmıklı Secondary School, which they had done
on behalf of Nurettin - Erol - Türkan - M. Oğuz Çarmıklı and M.
Sevgi Kayaalp’s late mothers, was renewed by our philanthropic
Chairman Nurettin Çarmıklı. The interior and the exterior of the
school were completely replaced, the academic life of our students
and teachers were made more convenient, not neglecting their
security by placing the cameras.
After the innovations, the positive feedback of the students,
teachers and the parents was instrumental to theschoolmaster
to organize a competition titled “Letters to the Philanthropic”
and the student named “Leyla Sarıkaya” was awarded the first
prize. The letter of our student made us emotional and being a
part of Nurol family and taking part in such good works made us
proud.
