Celebrating the
FNSS
Success in UAE
FNSS Business Director İnan Güven and Personnel
Manager Hüdaver Değirmenci visited United Arab
Emirates in August. The aim of the visit is to come
together with our employees working in Abu Dhabi.
Letter of appreciation is submitted to our personnel
operating on-site at UAE on technical support
activities of 133 ACVs we exported in 1997, namely
Tansel Tokuroğlu, Mustafa Kutlubay, Necdet Eren,
Davut Akın Büyükcaner and Fahri Düz at a dinner
where they attended with their families for FNSS’
UAE Army tracked armored vehicle fleet has
accomplished its 10th service year, and they kept
the customer satisfaction at the highest level during
this period.
It is very significant that PARS 8x8 test team
which was there at the same day and successfully
finished summer trials has also participated in this
celebration night. We congratulate our personnel for
their success. As a result of a research published by Fortune 500,
FNSS Among according to 2009 financial data, FNSS increased
its net sales by 53 % and rise up to 286 ranking

5 among the companies that have the greatest
rise. FNSS 2009 endorsement is 187 million TRY.
Increasing its pre-tax profit before interest by
65% compared to last year, FNSS announced 34,6
million TRY profit. With a profit rate of 16 %, FNSS
ranked 47th in Turkey. The export rate of FNSS is
187 million TRY; it has exported all of its armored
combat vehicle production in 2009. With this rate,
FNSS ranked 80th among companies with the
greatest export. FNSS ranked 1st in export among
“Defense Industry Companies”. In “Vehicles and
Equipments Production and Maintenance” category,
FNSS ranked 13th; and in this sector it ranked 9th in
profitability, and 8th in exportation. In pre-tax profit
ratio to net sales, FNSS ranked 3rd.
In Ankara province, this Company ranked 27th in
net sales and ranked 8th in exportation of Ankara.
FNSS will keep this rising success rate in the
following years ahead.
