Sheraton Batumi Hotel, the first five star international hotel in Adjara region, which is structured as Georgia’s
tourism center, is expected to attract significant number of tourists to the region.

In the ceremony, the President of Georgia Mikhail SAAKASHVILI awarded to our Prime Minister “Georgian
Legion of Honor” and presented a plaque to our Chairman of the Board of Directors Nurettin Çarmıklı for
the memory of the street of which his name was given. The street of which Nurettin ÇARMIKLI’s name
was given is a street across the Restaurant San Remo connecting Rustaveli Street to Khimshiashvili Street
and then passing to Gorki Street. This street is said to be one of the most beautiful streets of Batumi.
