The rise of the construction and contracting sector in the last 10 years created significant opportunities for many companies. The turnover of Nurol Holding which was 756 million dollars in 2006, increased more than four times and reached to 3 billion 446 million dollars. Main projects providing this increase were Gebze-İzmir Highway, the biggest build-operate-and transfer project of Turkey costed 6,5 billion dollars and Gulf Pass projects. Besides, Ilısu Dam and HPP projects, Marmaray Strait Tube Tunnel Project costed 1,5 billion dollars, villa-housing-residence and office projects costed totally more than 1 billion dollars in Istanbul by Nurol GYO have also contributed to this success of the group.
Ugur Doğan, the CEO of Nurol Holding stated that other infrastructure projects in UAE, Qatar, Georgia, Morocco, Algeria, Libya and Irak valuing 5 billion dollars in last 10 years have also contributed to rise of the group.
