FNSS will bring its four products together with the visitors at IDEF’15 Fair. Kadir Nail Kurt, the CEO of FNSS, stated that Pars 4 x 4, the latest member of Pars wheeled armored vehicle family, Kaplan YN -ZMA, the latest member of the new generation of armored tracked vehicles and AV – 8IFV25 8 x 8 wheeled armored combat vehicle shall be unveiled at the fair and said that PARS 6 x 6 CBRN reconnaissance vehicle produced as a prototype shall also take part in the fair. Kadir Nail Kurt stated that Pars 4 x 4 has been designed to undertake special operational roles such as advanced surveillance, anti-tank and command and control and said that the vehicle was designed in a way to meet all the operational requirements. Kurt mentioned that the 5 – man crew vehicle can operate in deep and fast flowing water and said “PARS 4 x 4 can operate on any rough terrain with its low center of gravity, fully independent suspension system, ABS – assisted hydraulic disc brakes, low ground pressure, increased angles of approach and departure and reduced refracting angle. Pars 4 X 4 can climb 70 % steep slopes, hold on 40 % side slopes and can easily pass over 50 cm vertical obstacles” Kadir Nail Kurt stated that Kaplan has an electronic infrastructure that contains protection systems against mines, rockets and kinetic energy ammunition and that allows integration of up to date electronic systems and said that it is designed with advanced suspension and track system. Kurt stated that 12 different variants of AV – 8 have been developed in line with the requirements of Malaysian Land Forces and said that the product is the first original family of 8 x 8 tactical wheeled armored vehicles of Malaysia. Kurt said that “AV8 IFV25 is redesigned by using the infrastructure of PARS multi-purpose tactical wheeled armored vehicle family designed by FNSS as a result of joint efforts of FNSS and DEFTECH engineers and upon taking the user requirements into consideration. It is produced in the plants of DRBHICOM Defense Technologies Sdn. Bhd. (DEFTECH, Malaysia)”.
