FNSS, that is the first private sector organization of the Turkish Defense Industry makes an indelible impression on the systems it is produced for the land forces of the armies. Pars, armored carrier that is being welcomed warmly with great interest especially abroad, for many years is the favorite products of the company. The 8 x 8 personnel carrier that is able to climb a steep 70 degree inclination can pass over a 2 meter long ditch without any problem. Each tire of the Pars is has the same suspension and covered by armor so as to protect 11 solders therein from all kinds of bombing attacks. The pars, with maximum weight is 30 tones, able to reach average 100 km on a smooth straight road, and can move ahead by 8 km speed in water by means of its water jets. One of the features that make Pars superior among the other ones is the visual technological opportunity offered to its user. While the driver sits on the command seat of the Pars is able to observe outside, when looking to whatever side and direction, with an angle of 230, the day and thermal cameras placed in front and backside of the vehicle transfer uninterrupted view to the screen in front of the driver. The Pars has also 6 x 6 and 4 x 4 models, which runs 700 km distance with a single tank. Malezia, one of the south Asia gigants, ordered 257 pars from FNSS in 2011. This order, amounting of 600 million dollars, is the largest single item military export agreement of Turkey.
