The contract for the “Desing and Execution of Timisoara West Bypass” project, tendered by CNAIR on May 15, 2024, has been awarded to Nurol Construction following a comprehensive technical and financial evaluation. The contract was officially signed on January 23, 2025.
The project, valued at USD 295.251.250.09, has a total duration of 30 months, comprising 6 months for design and 24 months for construction. The 13.9 km-long bypass will feature 10 bridges with a total length of 3.031 meters, 4 intersections, 2 parking areas, and 25 km of access roads. The highway, which is financed by the European Union, is designed as a dual carriageway with a total of four lanes, two in each direction.
