SUPPORT FOR WOMEN’S EMPLOYMENT IN İVRINDİ
A project aimed at fostering women’s contribution to the family economy has come to fruition and is yielding positive results. This initiative, carried out in collaboration with İvrindi Municipality, İvrindi District Governorship, Balıkesir Provincial Directorate of Agriculture, Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality, Department of Rural Services, Regional Directorate of Agricultural Credit Cooperative, and TÜMAD Mining, focuses on mushroom production within a greenhouse. The project is implemented by entrepreneurial women who are members of the S.S İvrindi Women’s Initiative Production and Business Cooperative in Korucu neighborhood.
