We participated in the 2nd Mine Rescue Competition organized by the Turkish Miners Association with a team of 9 people from TÜMAD Lapseki and İvrindi Gold Mines to provide trained and ready manpower to support institutions such as AFAD and fire brigade in emergencies that may occur in our country.
Among the new participating mines, we won first place in the “Best New Team” category. Additionally,as the only female rescuer in the competition, our first female rescuer in our team was also awarded the “Competition Special Award” for her success in the modules.
