Saplings Become Trees Project

Within the scope of Community Development Projects, cooperation was established with İvrindi and Burhaniye District Directorates of Agriculture to support agricultural production, diversify and improve livelihoods. Following the identification of cultivable-plantable vacant lands in Değirmenbaşı, Küçükılıca and Karadere Neighborhoods with the project, agricultural awareness trainings were completed by the experts of the District Directorate of Agriculture. A total of 15,395 saplings (7,151 walnut, 3,774 chestnuts, 4,470 almond) were distributed to 330 households and planted. Its contribution to household incomes through regular monitoring started to be monitored by TÜMAD Community Relations Department.
