FNSS has been recognized with the “International Occupational Safety Award” – one of the first and most prestigious awards in the occupational health safety (OHS) sector, in an event organized for the 62nd time by the British Safety Council. According to information shared by FNSS on 21 April, the prizewinners were announced on 11 March. The award ceremony was planned to be held in London on 29 May, but was later postponed due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
This was the first time FNSS had applied for the award, through which it sought to be evaluated on a global scale in terms of its OHS culture and related works. The award, which recognizes the activities and improvements achieved by FNSS, will also serve as a tool for the achievement of targeted developments. The award is also important in terms of the motivation it will provide to the development of an occupational safety culture, and to the sustainability of that culture.
