The FNSS Alfa Leadership Academy has been awarded the “Future Development Oscar” prize at Haute Couture’20 organised by Management Centre Turkey (MCT). Mehpare Alp, Human Resources Director, accepted the award on behalf of FNSS. Meanwhile, the FNSS Sailing Team returned from the Bosphorus Cup 2019, in which it was competing for the first time, with an award. FNSS opened the Alfa Leadership Academy with a ceremony held in Ankara on 14 November, 2018. The training programme of the Academy has been systematically designed by the FNSS Human Resources team, and incorporates modern learning methods. The training is designed for managers at every level, lasts two years and is repeated with new leaders every year. The aim of the programme is to train leaders who can predict the trends of the future, who are open to change and who can steer the future.
For their part, the FNSS Sailing Team took second place in the Bosphorus Cup 2019, held on 28–29 September, 2019. The competition was participated in by 800 sailors from around the world under the theme of “Clean Sea”. After its formation in June 2019, the FNSS Sailing Team took part in this event for the first time, competing against 50 different teams in one of the most challenging categories: IRC 1. The team achieved significant success, despite being formed only recently. Such successes, achieved not only in the field of professional life but also in other areas, once again reveal the success of the Academy with regards to development, stimulated by the basic skills reinforced at the FNSS Alfa Leadership Academy in such areas as analytical thinking, rapid adaptation to different conditions and working as a team.
