FNSS, one of Turkey’s most important armored vehicle manufacturers, focused on increasing turnover in the new term. The company, which currently has a turnover of 500 million dollars a year, aims to raise the figure to 1 billion dollars in the middle term. Kaplan Battle Tank, developed by the company, is in demand from a wide geographical area in the outer market. Assuming the leading corporation position in Turkey in terms of intermediate systems, FNSS delivered around 2250 Armored Combat Vehicles (ACV) to Land Forces Command in four different types since 1988.
FNSS also began to prepare for a new plan to replace its strategic plan whose application process is coming to an end. In this plan, growth stands out as one of the main objectives. It is also among the objectives that the company’s employment, exceeding 900 individuals, is raised to 1500 individuals. In addition, objectives oriented to technology, capability, turnover and revenue being extended to the base and distributing the risk will also be identified within the firm. It is anticipated that the external and internal projects will be close to each other in the company’s new strategic approach. FNSS still exports around $200 million annually.
