The Most Popular Companies survey, conducted for the 10th time by Bloomberg Businessweek Turkey and Realta Consultancy, revealed that in a changing and evolving world, young people see their futures in prestigious companies that are able to keep up with technology. The Most Popular Companies survey offers a strong indication of the expectations of young people from companies; and companies that approach and touch them, and that can explain their visions, are certainly at the top of their list.
A total of 20,336 usable survey forms were received from 113 universities after being applied onlıne between 6 November, 2017 and 19 March, 2018. Announcements were made through the 3İK student clubs union, university administrations, career centres, student clubs, social media and e-mail. The Cronbach Alpha value that indicates the internal coherency of the survey questions was calculated as 0.835, while the minimum limit for commensurable scientific sufficiency is 0.7. Some 186 companies took part in the survey, which were identified in accordance with the data obtained from the survey results of previous years, and from the results of focus group studies carried out with the students. Companies that were not on the previous list were added by the students by ticking the “Other” checkbox.
Nurol Holding, which ranked 13th in 2017, moved up the rankings to 10th in 2018, taking its place among the holdings considered the most prestigious by young people.
