The Turkish Defense and Aerospace Sector’s export figures for the first 9 months of the year have been announced. Turkey broke its record in terms of exports by the defense sector in 2019. A new country has been added to those that have opted to date for the armored vehicles of Nurol Makina, one of the leading armored vehicle manufacturers in the Turkish defense sector. Engaged in activities aimed at increasing the technological capabilities of its army and replacing its Soviet vehicles and equipment with Western systems, Hungary has chosen Ejder Yalçın. Hungary has become the sixth country in the world and the first in the European Union to choose Ejder Yalçın to meet the needs of its security forces. In May, Ejder Yalçın’s Yörük 4×4 light armored vehicle participated in the activities to mark Hungary’s “National Defense Day”, during which the Hungarian Defense Forces paraded the vehicles in its inventory and those currently in the procurement process Ejder Yalçın was developed to meet the operational needs of military units and security forces in any region over any terrain, including residential and rural areas. The vehicle has a high level of protection and mobility and serves as a proven platform in the operational field.
