The Timisoara Western Bypass Design and Construction Project tender, issued by the Romanian National Road Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR) on May 15, 2024, accepted Nurol İnşaat’s proposal following technical and financial evaluations. The contract for the project was signed on January 23, 2025.
With a total contract value of 295,251,250.09 USD, the project duration was set at 30 months, including 6 months for design and 24 months for construction. The 13.9 km highway project includes 10 bridges, totaling 3,031 meters in length, 4 intersections, 2 parking areas, and 25 km of connecting roads. The highway, financed by European Union funds, is planned to have 4 lanes, with 2 lanes in each direction.
