As part of its sustainability strategy, Nurol Holding prioritizes contributing to social welfare as one of its key objectives. Within this framework, one of its subsidiaries, FNSS Defense Systems Inc., has been providing educational support to the children and families of disabled veterans, martyrs, and wounded officers/NCOs through the TAF Education Foundation Scholarship Project, which has been implemented since 2019 with a focus on the themes of “education” and “protection.”
Within the scope of the project:
- 372 students have benefited from educational scholarships, in line with the support amount determined by the Turkish Armed Forces Education Foundation.
- Special quotas have been allocated for university students studying under the foundation in FNSS internship and candidate engineer programs.
- Donations have been collected for the TAF Education Foundation through events such as running and cycling competitions held with the participation of FNSS employees.
- The FNSS Corporate Communication team has renewed and maintained the foundation’s website to strengthen its promotional channels and has increased its visibility through promotional efforts in the defense media.
This project goes beyond providing financial support; it serves as a volunteer-based social responsibility initiative, contributing to the promotion of the foundation’s activities, the expansion of its financial resources, and the active participation of employees in social responsibility projects.
As of 2024, Nurol Teknoloji and Nurol Makina have also established their own education funds, making valuable contributions to the Turkish Armed Forces Education Foundation – Education Fund Project. Thus, a broader social responsibility ecosystem has been created under the umbrella of Nurol Holding.
