Nurol Teknoloji has taken a significant step forward in the field of advanced technical ceramic technologies by acquiring the majority shares of the German ceramic raw material producer Industriekeramik Hochrhein (IKH).
In a press release, Nurol Teknoloji announced that it is strengthening its leadership in advanced technical ceramic technologies through the acquisition of a majority stake in the German ceramic raw material producer Industriekeramik Hochrhein (IKH).
In his statement, Nurol Teknoloji CEO and Board Member Selim Baybaş emphasized the importance of acquiring the majority shares of the company for the Turkish business community. He noted that this milestone represents a first for their sector, as a defense industry company with 100% Turkish capital ventures into acquiring a well-established German company producing critical technology. Baybaş stated that with the acquisition of IKH, Nurol Teknoloji aims not only to strengthen its leadership in the field of ballistic ceramics but also to establish itself as a global pioneer in advanced technical ceramics required by the global electronics industry and other critical technology sectors.
Marco Reinger, founder of IKH, commented on this strategic partnership, stating, “We believe that Nurol Teknoloji’s vision will enhance our growth potential further. We will focus on new and innovative projects by leveraging our experience in the ceramic industry.”
