Nurol Makina displayed YÖRÜK at IDEF’19, integrated with innovative characteristics that will see it breathe new life into the combat theater, after receiving its first orders. The prototype had been exhibited previously at IDEF’17, and in the 2 years since, the vehicle has concluded its qualification tests. The company plans to launch serial production of the vehicle this year. YÖRÜK stays one step ahead of its rivals due to the combined benefits of its armor and mobility. Offering Level 1 ballistic protection without any additional armor, YÖRÜK’s protection level can be increased to Level 4 with the addition of armor plating. Should the end user want to change the protection level of the vehicle to suit different mission requirements, the armor plates can be mounted and demounted without the need for any special equipment. This process can even be completed rapidly in the field using standard tools. These changes to the ballistic protection level can be applied also to the windows of the vehicle.
