Nurol Makina CEO Engin Aykol and Asisguard General Manager M. Barış Düzgün have signed a contract for the supply of YÖRÜK 4×4 vehicles. As part of the Nigerian Road Safety Project, where Asisguard is the prime contractor, Asisguard products will be integrated into 13 armored YÖRÜK 4x4s. The contract was signed during a ceremony on January 4. Nurol Makina’s vehicles, already in use in nearly 20 African countries, will serve in Nigeria for the first time through this project. This expands the operational presence of YÖRÜK 4x4s to five countries. General Manager of Asisguard, mentioned that the contract in Nigeria was the result of 2.5 years of work, adding that they will provide drones, VTOL, reconnaissance and surveillance systems, command and control systems, and energy and infrastructure systems as part of the project.
