Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank, Governor of Çanakkale İlhami Aktaş, AK Party Group Deputy Chairperson Bülent Turan, Chair of the Commission on Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Affairs Yunus Kılıç and AK Party Çanakkale Deputy Jülide İskenderoğlu visited our Lapseki Gold and Silver Mine owned by TÜMAD Madencilik A.Ş. on July 27, 2022, and made inspections.
Oğuz Çarmıklı, Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Nurol Holding, Gürhan Çarmıklı, Member of the Board of Directors of Nurol Holding, and Hasan Yücel, General Director of TÜMAD Madencilik A.Ş. were present during the visit of the esteemed Minister and Distinguished Guests to our Lapseki Gold Mine. Stating that TÜMAD is one of Türkiye’s most important gold and silver producers and therefore he wanted to visit the Lapseki Gold Mine during his visit to Çanakkale, Minister Varank said: “TÜMAD Mining is one of the exemplary operations in the world with its world-class production, the measures it takes regarding the environment, and the measures it takes in the production processes. I would like to thank TÜMAD Mining very much. They are doing an exemplary job in both Çanakkale and Balıkesir operations. It is also important that the machines used in these plants are produced by our local manufacturers. I would like to thank our friends for creating such an added value.”
